Claudio Silvano

Stories for those lost at sea.

I remember being in the womb.
At fourteen, I became the universe for a few seconds.
I write fantasy that takes its time — stories that are more interested in questions than answers, and more concerned with orientation than certainty.I live in Nannup, a quaint small town three hours south of Perth, Western Australia, with my wife Sa, a great number of birds from the nearby lake, and an inconceivable number of frogs that sing long into the night.

What I Write

My work sits at the edge of the genre — more concerned with the quieter questions than with spectacle: who are we when the world we knew is gone? What do we carry with us, and what do we leave behind?Forthcoming: A Hundred Days in Surmur, a novel of grief and creation.
Some writers lose themselves in their work. Alder lost himself in his, but the world he created will not give him back.
I am also the author of
~The Destiny of Fire trilogy: Illiom - Daughter of Prophecy, Keys of Awakening, and Into Forbidden Lands
~The Tree at World's End — a fantasy anthology
~In Between — a standalone fantasy novel
~Home of the Wind — an autobiographical novella
